Market is basically FLAT
Up today was :
OIL
SP500
2 and 10 year
So that means
Euro is down?
Well, slightly.
As I begin a habit of my hobby in sharing my observations, I have no fear of the massive competition for your time.
Because the way I look at things are consistent and meaningful as you will begin to see.

Up
SP500
Dollar
Down
Interest Rates (Yields rise)
Oil
When Dollars go up, not everyone keeps it in the bank so they buy Dollar based assets like Equities.

Capital Flow theory
Im a big believe in where is the money heading too. From there, we can then use fundamental data and price action to form a position in the marketplace.
It is my expectation for my readers to help sharpen their timing, risk management, and performance as a result of this.
The bread and butter is: US Dollar, SP500, Crude Oil and US Interest Rates. For better or worse, the USA is the main action of the world.
Gold, Nasdaq, Dax, Euro, Yen, Nikkei, etc are secondary to where the large money is parked.
Today:
Up
Oil
Down
Dollar
SP500
Interest Rates (Yields rise)
So it appears money went out of the US, looking for investments overseas.

Virginia Energy Resources
Apparently, today, Trump is considering import bans/tariffs on Uranium (10 years too late)
The largest untapped mine supposedly is in Virginia where the resource owner has sued its way up to the Supreme court
which will hear the case in October.
Lawsuit + Impending Tariffs = Jackpot?
The company is worth $20 million and resources of $6 billion so that is 300:1 leverage
Uranium mining and any public related nuclear player did nothing today (we've all been burned)
at any rate, one day does not make a trend.
Ur-Energy
UEC
Laramide
Virginia Energy
LEU
CCJ (has US properties)

Nasdaq hits another high
Nasdaq hits another high. Its like Golden State Warriors a few years ago but got the smack down when the Cavs won.
Gold and Oil are weak along with commodities in general. So CPI and PPI should head down for the real economy.
Its beautiful in July and with family so why are we following the markets so closely?
Hovanian popped 6%. Is this the bottom?
Two investments I missed recently on odd earnings was ORCL (should have bought when CA was bid)
and CVS which isn't a pharmacy company anymore but a diversified health play.
My cannibus stock AOI is a dog that got worst when they proposed a name change.
I guess the market doesn't like their new focus.
We'll see.

Can you apply technical analysis to sports?
With the data moving sports (and now music), can a stock technical analyst apply this to these areas
and not only profit, but remove the stigma of calling it gambling?

Hovanian bottom?
Who doesnt like penny stocks?
Its the only time you get to see stocks rise 1000%
Hovanian has been a dog of a homebuilder for years and today there was an article in WSJ
on one of their questionable financing deals and how it was resolved "amicably" by all parties.
Sometimes articles like this signal a bottom.
Noticed some larger volume lately and no news about the company so if homebuilders rally this should also participate.

Instead of UVV, AOI
I was bullish pot in 2008 and didnt have the experience to find and develop a longer term Nose for this investment thesis.
Now every yo yo has a few thousand shares of the lates pot stock
As for me, was bullish UVV - now a compeittor of it, AOI, is doing what i thought possible taking its cash flow and investing in thhe growing area.
The stock isnt doing to well now but there is large volume now so lets see what happens
Everyone is Bearish, so....
Barons was very bearish on its headline.
So maybe market has one more legup?

Thursday May 3
https://www.snb.ch/en/mmr/speeches/id/ref_20180503_tjn/source/ref_20180503_tjn.en.pdf
Mr. Jordan from the SNB spoke about why money issued by a central bank as opposed to the government is better.
Lately, I have been working hard dissociating observing the markets with predicting market action. Like everything, it helps us
get a perspective on this specific part of life.
While many of my observations seem to occur, it is not from predicting they will occur but from logical deduction. The best results always come from a margin of error.
THe stock market is down for the year and the US dollar is rallying while China and US speak on trade. But over time its flat for several months.
What has interested me the past few days was the multiple days a trend occurs and if we can apply "oversold" on these conditions.
